The Motivational Inspirational Society for the Betterment of Minds members (a.k.a. Phoebe and Amelia) have been working together for 10+ years.
Amelia Bryne is a filmmaker, researcher, and media theorist. She studied cultural anthropology at Barnard College, Columbia University, and new media at the joint Ryerson University/York University M.A. program in Communication and Culture, Toronto, Canada. After working as a market analyst for the automotive industry and learning Mandarin, Amelia traveled to Beijing in 2006 to make her first feature film, "spring wind will bring life again". She is currently working on a book.

Phoebe Sullivan, a graduate of Smith College, holds an advanced degree in International Affairs with a focus on sustainable development and business from l'Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris, France. She has a background in corporate social responsibility having promoted green and socially responsible strategies for small and large businesses alike. As the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship, she is studying the social impacts of forest-based carbon credit generation in Madagascar and Uganda.
